Refine amt is ingots per kg of ore — the 4x yield is twice that. Added travel is 0 for common ores, 331 for deep-space, 628 for moons, 1000 for hazardous. Prices are derived from these, never typed directly.

Pay rate is the anchor for the whole economy — every price scales with it linearly, so changing it moves both sides of a trade equally and never changes whether a trade balances.

Ore & ingot values

Store price is the NPC trade station's listing, kept for reference only — it never enters the peer-to-peer math. Click a column heading to sort.

Ore value = (baseTravel + addTravel + miningPay) × gravHazard × boulderMult, where miningPay = miningTime × rate / (1e6 × refineAmt) and mining time is clamp(-156.44 × voxelRate + 616.43, 108, 460). Ingot value = ore value ÷ (2 × refineAmt), plus up to 20% for refine time.
